Summer's not quite over, but I can tell it will be over too soon. Nights are getting colder, and the days are not as hot. Hard to believe Maci starts kindergarten in less than 2 weeks! She is soooo excited, and ready. She can already read easy books- like Dick and Jane.
So, last week, we met up with our friends, Tia and Shera, and their kids and had lunch at the park. There's a nice spray park here, and carousel, so the kids had a great time.
We're sooo proud of Howard because he just got invited to shoot at a national pistol shooting match for all law enforcement. It's held in New Mexico next month. The Sheriff was impressed with his skills, so extended the invitation. This will be a great experience for Howie, and to say he's excited is an understatement.
BYU-I got out of school July 24, and will start up again Sept. 7th, which means, I get a long break. It's been nice. I wish I could say it's relaxing, but it's not. This year was my 10-year class reunion, which me and 2 friends were in charge of. We had it last weekend, and it was so much fun to see all my old friends, and to see the 'manly men' in high school as daddies now. Besides that, it's harvest time for beans, raspberries, huckleberries, peas, and potatoes. But, I'll be enjoying my warm huckleberry pancakes when it's blizzarding outside in a few more months. Ew, don't wanna even think about that.
So, life goes on. It's just as crazy as ever. But soooo much fun!
Oh, the guy with the funny shirt is one of my classmates. He won a Larry-the-cable-guy look-a-like contest and got to meet Larry. He's hilarious!!
