When you do something dumb, why don't you broadcast it on the radio? I did, and WON!

It was a blustery, Sunday afternoon.  We had just gotten home from church, and it was cold, and the kids were hungry.  I threw Howie my keys, and that's when he said it. "Where's the house key?"  Oh, darn, I gave it to Maci last Friday, and forgot to put it back on.  Oh well, I have the backdoor key.  What?!  The screen door is locked at the backdoor?!  Hmmmm, don't have a wallet on us, so we can't card the door.  No hide-a-key...all windows are locked.  (Insert crying of 2 year old who is cold and hungry.)  Howie searches the car frantically, looking for anything, any tool.  No dice.  Check the van.  He tears the glove compartment apart.  Nadda.  So, he decides to break down the screendoor.  We get in, get settled, change clothes, and make lunch.  Hadley is now napping, everyone is calm, and then it dawns on me, "Oh wait, I have a spare key in my scripture bag."  I realize I just said that out loud, and Howie rolls his eyes.  Oh well.  Skip ahead a few days, and I'm listening to Z103 (local radio station), and it's Doghouse Wednesday.  They pick three callers to tell why they are in the doghouse with their significant other, and the winner gets a free night at a theme suite hotel.  And, I won.  And now Howie is happy. :)
