On Saturday, my husband told me he got me an awesome gift for Mother's Day, but he wasn't giving it to me until Tuesday morning, at 6:30 a.m. He said I had to get up at 5:50 a.m. At 6:30 this morning, we arrived at the local airport, and our neighbor was waiting to take me up in his little 2-seater plane. (I've never flown in a little plane before, and really wanted to.) We flew over my hometown, over the Temple, over all the farmland, over our house twice, and back. WOW! I'm so lucky to have married such a cool guy. He totally 'gets' me.
