Guess What!?

In March, we found out we were expecting! Howie and I didn't tell the girls right away. We left the ultrasound picture out in the open, and they discovered it right after school. Lexi said, "Mom, what's this? Is this a picture of a baby?" I said, "Yep--whose baby do you think it is?" "I dunno. Can I play on the computer?" So, later, ate dinner, I pulled the picture out and said, "So what is this?" Maci and Lexi both said it was a baby picture--but they didn't know whose. I said I'd give them 10 guesses. Maci said, "Well, it says Phillips on the picture, is Aunt Melanie having a baby?" Nope. Is it someone we know? Yep. Is it someone in our family? Yep? Is it Heather? Nope. Is it Aunt Stacey? Nope. Hmmmm, what color of hair does she have? It's about like my hair color. Hmmmm...(by this time Howie is rolling his eyes and face palming his forehead.) Maci, "Hey, why is your name on here, Mom? Is this YOUR BABY!?" Yep. Then the screams and giggles followed. And they started patting my belly. They are very excited. I had weird dreams right away, and was sleeping like crazy--a good night sleep, and usually 2 naps a day. I also was hungry ALL THE TIME! I packed on weight pretty quick. Someone awesome sent me lemon pound cake--and it was soooo good. You can see me with my beginning belly. I think at about 12 weeks, I was weighing what I had at 8 months with Hadley... I guess that's what happens when you eat, and sleep all the time.
