4th of July Started with the scout flag raising and breakfast, then it was off to the parade. Howie was there too--you can see him in the background stopping/directing traffic. This 'special' parade goes down the street, and then turns around and comes back, so you get double the candy. The girls got to ride in Howie's rig following the parade, and threw out all their candy to the other parade goers. It was AWESOME! I think we only came home with 5 pieces of candy. But I'm sure we'll get it replenished after the Pioneer Day parade on the 26th.
We have spent lots of time in the water--this mamma is getting hot! We built sand temples (as per a Primary lesson, and have lit off fireworks in the front yard.
