Tonight, for Family Home Evening, we went to my mom and dad's house to pick more garden veggies before it freezes. It just so happened that we were there for dinner (planned....maybe). Anyway, Mom made some killer breakfast burritos and used my Dad's homemade tortillas. YUM! They asked Maci to say the blessing and it went something like this, (in her most sincere voice)
"Dear, Heavenly Father,
Thank Thee for this food. Please bless it. Please help us not to eat poisen. And help us to know what poisen is, and Jesus can tell us what the poisen is, so we won't eat it..."
By this time, I can't stop myself from laughing. I wasn't the only one...

ReplyDeleteMaci is so funny. And I am amazed about Lexi's doctor experience! You have such great kids. By the way, Nathan and Lyn still want to come visit all the time. It's hard explaining distance to them.
ReplyDeleteI haven't keep up your blog lately! You've got some funny stuff on here! Way to be brave and eat the milk shake! Chub chubs was hilarious, and so was the poison. Kids are the funnest little things...at least when they're not being naughty! :) By the way, I spent 93 cents and got 3 back in RR at Walgreens this week for 2 bags of stuff, and 75 cent apple juice at Target! Great deals are fun! Talk to you soon!
