It's been awhile since I last posted, but I feel like I should, even though I can't think of anything real exciting to write about. And, I don't have my camera at present, so no pictures to post. (However, if you check out Maci's school blog- under 'school' in my blog, you can see her 100 day outfit.) So, we are now at 17 weeks of this pregnancy, and are feeling a little bit of movement. Next month, we find out the gender. I'm starting to show a bit, and am in the in-between stages of clothes. I have one pair of pants that fit me comfortably- the rest are too small or too big. I feel rather frumpy at this stage, but what can you do? We're all really still excited about this new one. The girls say they're going to teach the baby 'all the rules'- like no pulling hair, don't scream in the house, pick up your toys, etc. Sounds good to me. :) They're going to be good little helpers.
Maci is now reading by herself. She brings home 4 news books every week, reads them to me, and then gets new ones. She's really learned a lot. She has mastered writing her last name- which she used to write Overtin (sounding it out carefully), and we had to correct her that it is OvertOn.
Lexi is also learning a lot. She has workbooks that we do at home. She has no problem writing numbers and letters. We get to go to Maci's class and help out every Friday. Lexi loves it- and all the kids like her. She's like a little celebrity. :) She still has another year before she goes to kindergarten. I think she'll be more than ready.
Howie is doing well in the law enforcement stuff. He finished his Field Training with Rexburg PD and will patrole as a reserve on his days off- if he feels like it. April 1st will be his first anniversary of being with Fremont County Sheriff's office. We are both happy and blessed with his career move, and the timing of it. He thoroughly enjoys his job, which makes us all happy.
So, that's about it. Spring is nearly here. The snow is nearly melted. I love Spring. I love seeing new growth. I can't wait for warmer weather.
So, that's about it. Next time, I should be able to post pictures. We got the girls' Easter dresses from Gramma O. SUPER CUTE! I'll post pictures...when I get my camera back.
